Lawsuits and repayment plans require an attorney or direct work with the creditor. Credit reporting and owing debt are separate: paying a debt doesn’t automatically delete its history, and a deletion doesn’t erase the debt itself.
We challenge negatives such as late payments, charge-offs, collections, bankruptcies, and more when they’re unverified, inaccurate, incomplete, or not responded to in time under FCRA/FDCPA.
Online forms often send a simple “not mine” flag and can limit future disputes. We build stronger, document-backed cases and track responses round-by-round. Whether DIY or with us, always mail documents and keep a paper trail.
Sometimes a sold collection gets re-reported by a new collector. If previously unverified, we work to show it’s duplicate/invalid. It’s not the same account “coming back,” but it can look that way.
Not automatically. Collections/charge-offs can still report up to 7 years. Whether to pay a collector is a legal/financial decision—consult an attorney. Our focus is removing errors and violations impacting your scores.
No one can guarantee outcomes in advance (CROA). Like hiring a lawyer, you hire us to attempt to improve your situation using laws and documentation.
Your card is billed monthly on (or near) the date you enrolled, after work is completed. You’ll get reminder emails ahead of time.
We email you 7 and 3 days before your due date. If a payment fails, you’ll receive a secure update link. You can also email support@miamicreditrepair.org (Mon–Fri, 9–5 EST).
We don’t charge to start, and you can cancel before a new month begins. Once a month’s disputes are processed, we can’t reverse bureau investigations or refund that month’s work.
Yes. We only see the last 4 digits for verification—full details are tokenized and hidden from us.

Scores drop when negatives are added (missed payments, hard inquiries, charge-offs/collections, high utilization, new debt/shorter age). Reviewing your credit with us does not add a hard inquiry.
